RODMAN RETURNS
There is no truth to the rumor that the buffet will include Korean barbecue at
the Ocean Manor Resort on Sunday when NBA Hall of Famer and
globe-trotting ambassador Dennis Rodman hosts the fourth annual
celebrity volleyball fundraiser for Kids in Distress. Rodman is
scheduled to be joined by MMA champion Rashad Evans and former
NFL stars Marvin Jones and Lorenzo White for
the matches, which begin at 1 p.m. on the sand at the resort’s Bamboo
Beach Club & Tiki Bar. Competitors will include female staffers from
Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza, the Blue Martini, the Village Grill and Pump, Hot
Leggz, Off the Hookah,Tokyo Blue Restaurant. DJ Mike Marino
will spin. There will be a pig roast buffet, served alongside the standard menu,
beginning at noon, with an after-party scheduled in the Tokyo Blue
Restaurant & Ultra Lounge. Admission is free. The Ocean Manor Resort is

host annual Celebrity Volley Ball Games for Kid's In Distress
Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman returns for the 4th year in a row with martial artist and heavyweight winner of The Ultimate Fighter 2 - Rashad Evans, NFL great and former FSU standout - Marvin Jones, former local NFL star Lorenzo White--who is best known as the "Great White Hope from the Green and White" from his Michigan State days will participate in coaching teams while mingling among the crowd. The foursome will also help to rev up lots of good cheer and dollars for Kid's In Distress at this popular annual event.
Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza, The Blue Martini, The Village Grill and Pump, Hot Leggz, Tokyo Blue Restaurant, and host Bamboo Beach Club & Tiki Bar comprise the female teams that will take the shore of the Ocean Manor for some competitive game play from 1 P.M. this Sunday.
DJ Mike Marino will spin good vibration and Bamboo Beach Club & Tiki Bar and Ocean Manor owner will MC the family atmosphere event for the 5th year.
Their will be a Pig Roast buffet alongside the standard menu being served from noon time and an after party in the evening at the Ocean Manor’s chic Tokyo Blue Restaurant & Ultra Lounge.
